How do I record a sound?

On SAMPLE, choose MIC and hold an empty pad. Let go to stop. FLIP trims the silence automatically.

How do I copy, swap or merge pads?

Turn on MOVE under the pads, then drag one pad onto another and pick Copy, Swap or Merge.

Can I use a MIDI keyboard or pad controller?

Yes. USB, Bluetooth and network MIDI work automatically. Note C1 plays pad A1. In Settings you can switch to playing the selected pad chromatically.

How do I use FLIP inside GarageBand or AUM?

Add an Audio Unit instrument and pick FLIP Sampler. Notes C1 to D#2 play its 16 pads. Turn on GROOVES to play the kit's beat in time with the host.

How do I get my beat into Ableton Live?

Menu → Ableton Live export. You get every pad as a WAV, each pattern as a MIDI clip, per-pad stems and a mixdown, plus a README with the steps.
